Today Spring Break begins and even though many students will be spending their time vacationing on beaches and sunbathing, Spring Break is not all about going to tropical resorts.
It seems that in today’s world many students have this assumption that Spring Break is a time for everyone to go on crazy vacations with their friends. Spring Break has changed from being a brief vacation period of relaxing, to an excuse to break all rules and go to parties; but in reality spring break is far from this. So why does everyone still insist on going all out for this vacation period?
Students are led to believe the only way to enjoy their Spring Break vacation is to party, but most of them just end up staying at home and only go out on small events with friends and family.
The truth is although a lot of people do go on vacations during Spring Break, it’s mainly just to enjoy the weather and spend time with friends and family; and a large percentage of people do stay home and relax.
Sure going to tropical five star hotels and attending Spring Break activities does seem like fun in movies but in reality life isn’t like that and this vacation is about a lot more than going out every night.
So here is my advice for everyone staying at home on Spring Break but who still want to do fun activities with friends:
Colorado is a beautiful state with a lot to do, especially when the weather is nice, and one doesn’t need to go to the Bahamas to go hiking or shopping with friends. Enjoy the beauty of Colorado and create your own expectations of Spring Break.
