Just as the 28 million recalls issued by GM are starting to come to an end, they find another hole that needs to be covered. This one involves the Corvette Stingray.
General Motors announced Sunday Sept. 14th to put a Stop-Sale on the Stingray. This means that, until it is lifted, no dealers will be able to sell the Stingray, even if there are some on the lot. The Stop-Sale was issued because the parking brake was installed improperly on the Stingray. GM says that about 800 Vettes are said to have this problem, most of which are on dealer lots currently. A possible recall will be issued to customers who have a car with this problem.
About another 2,000 cars have an issue with the driver’s airbag dislodging during an impact causing more harm than protection.
Happily this is only a handful of Stingray sales since the car came out last year but expect a few more to be recalled
No Recall has been issued but don’t be surprised if there is one for the 2,800 cars affected. Once the problem is resolved, expect the sale of Stingrays to continue as normal. GM will announce more about these problems in the coming weeks.

Good job on providing a good story about GM. The description of the company made the article very interesting and fun to read. The specs. Though, it could use a little bit more length. Good job overall!
