Annual homecoming bonfire

[slideshow_deploy id=’8229′]

Homecoming would not be homecoming without the annual bonfire, held in the open space west of Fossil Ridge High School. Usually it is on Wednesday night of Homecoming Week, but this year it was too wet because it rained earlier that day, so it was rescheduled for Friday Oct. 3, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.

The student council this year had s’mores for everyone and the tradition of having a car for students to pay to smash stuck from last year’s homecoming bonfire. A new thing that happened this year was that they had tables for people to sit at. Another addition was that a group of about four seniors began playing guitars and ukuleles and circled the fire. Students were having fun with their friends enjoying the fire that night.

I would say that this bonfire was a hit and the students were ready for the homecoming dance which was the next night, on Saturday Oct. 4, 2014.

I like how you started with facts at the beginning!
I love all of your pictures, it really shows a story at the Bonfire!
    What is “stuck” line 4?
I feel you could have expanded a lot more, maybe get some quotes from students about the Bonfire.
