The Colorado High School Mountain Bike League is the host of 55 high school cyclist teams all over Colorado. The non-profit program has been around since 2009 and is home to competitions showing cross-country mountain biking. Cross-country mountain biking races are conducted on rough paths that are connecting.
Showcasing races, starting officially in the fall and having the last race October 28th, the Fossil Ridge team has six members, including four that are students here.
Junior Cole Glaser has been competing with Ciclismo Youth for two years alongside junior Max Keas, who just started competing with them this year and both competed in the junior varsity category.
Ciclismo Youth puts on events such as the New Belgium Short Track Races in the spring, New Belgium Cyclo Cross races in the fall, and the Lori Park Mountain Challenge.
Fossil sophomore Alex Marr has been racing for two years and raced in the junior varsity category along Keas and Glaser and a freshman, Tommy Papenthien, just started racing along side this team this year.
