A Fossil Ridge High School Junior Jaylyn Belcastro and a second year Journalist for Etched in Stone. With this being her second year she has taken this class again because she has a passion for writing and finding her own voice in her stories.
With Belcastro being born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, made the move to Fort Collins, Colorado around 5 years ago and has loved it since. Belcastro has been to different schools in the past years but stuck with Fossil for her High School career. She plans to graduate early in the year of 2026 and take a gap year to find her passion.
Belcastro finds happiness in art, cooking, and reading in her free time. Belcastro used to be a big book worm but has let it fade out of her view with her busy schedule with work, family, and school. Belcastro has a very good work ethic and works herself to get money and support herself as she is a very independent person. One of Belcastro’s dreams is to visit Belcastro, Italy because that’s where her family heritage comes from and her last name originated from.
