Vibrant displays of reds, oranges, yellows, and browns are starting to appear as we approach the fall season and kick off the month of October. When October begins, it starts to truly feel like fall. The weather cools down and the Halloween decorations come out. Pumpkins are grown, picked, and carved while the orange and yellow candy corn is being eaten. Rain storms drench the ground while people cozy up inside next to the fire holding a mug with a pumpkin spice latte warming their hands. Pine cones sprout and cling to the branches of pine trees. Fall is the beginning of the change in nature.
