Fossil hosted the first choir concert of the year on October 8, attracting over two hundred students, teachers and parents to the PAC. All of the Fossils’ choirs performed, including the new choir ‘Saber Cat Singers’. The concert was around an hour long and kept the audience immersed in the music the entire time.
This was the first ever concert for sophomore Cale Gonzalez, as she just joined Select Womens Choir this year. “It was so cool,” Gonzalez starts, “Every choir did great and you could really tell they, no, we worked really hard to get to this point. I know that we will excel even more as the year goes on, but honestly we did amazing for the first concert of the year.” The next choir concert is on December 15, and is already being planned for within the choirs.

There are a few unneeded words. Overall, it was written well!

The article is a little short but gives good quotes and information on the choir. It could also use quotes from students, teachers, or parents who were at the concert to give their opinions on what they were expecting and how the choir did.

Informative writing style, but also an enjoyable article.

I enjoy the headline, I thought it was clever. You may want to add some more about the actual concert, like what genres were performed, etc.

I loooove your headline! It caught my attention.
In addition I like that you make promotion for the next concert.

Good article, brief. But no longer news, it was reported on the 10/14/15 and it happened on 10/08/15 almost a week later.
