On Saturday November, 7 the Fossil cheer team competed in another competition in Castle Rock Colorado.  At this competition, the cheer team finished second overall after the two time state champions; Rock Canyon High School.  Bailey Coker a captain on the team described, “we were hoping to win this comp but I still think we did really well considering who we were up against”.

The cheer team is continuing to prepare for their competitions coming up soon.  “we practice everyday preparing for our comps” described Bailey.  The varsity cheer team was supposed to compete in a competition last Saturday, November 14th but, two girls got injured on their team. Because of the injuries, the varsity team could not compete.  But, the JV cheer team was still able to compete in the competition.  The next high school cheer competition our team is competing in is on Saturday November 21 at Greeley West High School.   

Bailey mentioned “We are also preparing to cheer for the upcoming basketball season, which we are all so excited about”.  Come out and support the cheer team at their competitions and during the basketball season!
