Fossil Ridge High School beat Monarch High School Thursday, April 20 at home with a final score of 2-1. The Sabercats trailed behind Monarch 1-0 at the end of the half. However in the second half Fossil came back and prevailed. Kylie Metcalf scored the first goal for Fossil and tied it up with Monarch. Mckenna Schultz scored the tie ending and winning goal ending the game with a score of 2-1. The junior varsity team also won their game against Monarch in a 6-0 shutout. The next home game is Thursday, April 27 be sure to come support the lady Sabercats!

Good article, maybe could elaborate a little bit about the history of the two teams. I play on the team and this was a really big game for us as are the next few games. Also you could mention facts about the teams. Good info but could use a little more.
