2nd and Charles also sells a variety of instruments, such as these guitars and ukuleles.

2nd and Charles is a store new to Fort Collins that opened in Front Range Village in November, in place of the old Sports Authority. The store is an interesting spin on the traditional music buyback store.

2nd and Charles will buy any used movies, books, games and more that you don’t want anymore. That is their primary objective as a store. However, when you turn to look at the rest of the store, you are greeted by a massive selection of just about everything you could want. They sell movies, books, video games, board games, comic books, merchandise, game consoles, instruments, toys and a whole lot more. They even sell snacks by the front. The store has a shocking amount of variety to choose from. If you are looking for a gift for a friend, this place will have plenty of options.

However, this store is more than just a place to shop. There is an area at the front and the back where you can sit to read or work. One has a table, the other comfortable chairs to sit on, so anyone can find a place to relax at the store. There is also a section in the middle where you can play video games on chairs with friends. This adds to the store in that you can shop and relax at the same time. Plenty of people grab books they may want to purchase and read a chapter or two before making a decision.

The pricing is actually amazing for the store. While some of the store is comparable to Barnes and Noble, other sections are really cheap. You can get plenty of movies for just a couple dollars each. You can buy five comic books and get five more free. Speaking from personal experience, it is bad that you can afford so much, because you can end up spending all your money there.

The store features gaming areas, in which customers can try out games before they buy, or just hang out with friends.

Overall, I would give this store a 9/10. While some stuff is a bit pricey, most of the stock available is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend going with a friend because 2nd and Charles is more than just a store—it is an experience.
