Unified Prom: A luau paradise
Despite the snow coming down outside on March 29, Unified Prom attendees danced the night away in a tropical gym. Unified Prom is an opportunity for students with special needs to have a school dance—since many do not attend dances, due to the noises and crowds. It is specifically created to make prom an enjoyable experience for them, with a care-free and encouraging environment. Most guests brought friends, family, and dates for the event. Students from many schools came together, dancing, eating, coloring, playing games, and relaxing.
