10. A Christmas Story (1983) is about a little boy named Ralphie who wants a B.B. gun for Christmas. When he brings his request before his parents and Santa, they all say the same thing, “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid.” As Christmas morning arrives, Ralphie is surprised with a B.B. gun and that’s when the real adventure begins.
9. A Christmas Carol (1984) is a heart-warming story about a bitter man named Ebenezer Scrooge. He doesn’t care for Christmas or other people in his life. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by three ghosts- past, present, and future. He soon learns that if he does not change his ways his life will be miserable. On Christmas morning, he has a change of heart.
8. The Santa Clause (1994) is about a man named Scott Calvin. On Christmas Eve, Santa Clause falls of his roof and he is forced to take his place. As he assumes the role of Santa, he begins to transform into the legendary figure right before his friends and family’s eyes.
7. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1954) is the story of a little reindeer who was born with a red nose. He is different than all of the other reindeer and he feels that he does not belong. He lives life as a misfit until Santa needs his help to save Christmas.
6. Miracle on 34th Street (1994) is the adventure of Dorey and Susan Walker and how they come to believe in Santa Clause. When Kris Kringle enters the Cole department store where Dorey works, she finds the perfect Santa. When Kris is wrongly accused, it is up to Mr. Bryan Bedford to prove that Kris is in fact the real Santa Clause.
5. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) is the story of Charlie Brown and his struggle to find the true meaning of Christmas. All of his friends are commercializing it and he doesn’t like it. His friend Linus steps up and tells everyone what the true meaning of Christmas really is.
4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) is the classic Dr. Seuss tale of the Grinch. The Grinch hates the Who’s in Whoville and attempts to steal their Christmas. Christmas morning arrives and the Grinch is pleased with his successful crime, until all of the Who’s start to sing. They are still content with what they have.
3. Elf (2003) is the story of Buddy-the-Elf who comes to New York City to find his dad. He learns that yellow cabs don’t stop, passion fruit spray offered in a department store is not to be eaten, and that Christmas is a time to spend with those you love.
2. It’s A Wonderful Life (1946) tells of George Bailey and how he learns that his life is truly wonderful. His business is about to go bankrupt, and George turns to what he believes is his only escape. The angel Clarence visits George and teaches him how truly blessed he is.
1. White Christmas (1954) is the story of performers who team up to create an amazing Christmas show. When Bob Wallace and Phil Davis meet the Haynes sisters, they all decide to travel to Vermont for the holidays. They run into their old general from the army and Bob and Phil set out to save his inn by performing a big Christmas show with the Haynes sisters.
