Annual bonfire is a welcome return to tradition
On Wednesday, September 29, Fossil Ridge High School hosted its first bonfire in two years. After the unprecedented years of wearing masks, social distancing, and doing online learning, things have felt as far from “normal” as imaginable. Now, as Fossil adjusts to an altered sense of normalcy within its walls, some traditions remain fully intact. Students came together outside of the school to enjoy the bonfire, spend time with friends and classmates, and take part in one of Fossil’s ritual school spirit activities. Despite the strangeness of the past years, the homecoming week bonfire went extremely well and seemed to be a welcome return to tradition.
