Special Olympics at Fossil: A day of sport and smiles
A Fossil student leaps into the sand pit after getting a running start from the track.
Every year, schools from around Poudre School District come together to compete and play in Special Olympics. Special Olympics is an organization that works to provide high quality and fun sporting events for people with disabilities from middle to high school. This year, Fossil Ridge High School hosted the event, with middle and high school students from all around PSD coming to compete. Events included shot put, long jump, and running on the track. Volunteers from all around the city came to help on this exceptionally rewarding event.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Fossil Ridge High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
