Dear single ladies,
I know that Valentine’s Day can be a hard day for most of us. Trust me, I know. This Valentine’s Day was particularly hard for me…but I don’t need to bore you with my life. Anyway, I want to just say this one thing. It’s ok to be single on Valentine’s Day and feel sad. I just want to tell you some things that I do on Valentines Day to make me feel better.
Every Valentines Day for the past three years, I watch Valentine’s Day. What girl doesn’t love to see Taylor Lautner shirtless? I love all of the drama of everyone else’s failed love-lives on the screen. It makes me feel a little bit better about myself.
I seriously go buy myself some chocolate. But I don’t do this on Valentine’s Day. The trick is to go the day after. That’s when all the chocolate goes on sale. Honestly, if you don’t take advantage of the chocolate sales, you don’t know what you’re missing.
My mom and dad usually go buy me some flowers, a card, or a movie. It reminds me that Valentine’s Day isn’t just about love between you and a boyfriend; it’s also between you, your friends, and family members. Love comes in all different ways. We just need to know how to look for it.
All of you beautiful girls deserve someone who is going to take your breath away and sweep you off your feet. As hard as it can be to be alone on Valentines Day, you just need to wait for your prince. I promise you that’s he’s coming. He’s just taking a little bit longer than some. It may take some time, but the love of your life is out there and he cannot wait to meet you. So save your heart for that one, true love. In the meantime, remember that you surrounded by people who love you.
Sincerely,
