It’s that time of year again where football season starts and Fossil Ridge High School couldn’t be more excited. FRHS is kicking off the year with their first football game at French field this year. The game will take place on September 5, 2013 at 6:00 pm against Windsor High School at Rocky Mountain High School.

The football players have been working hard this summer and can’t wait to get back on the field and show their opponents what their made of.

Mitchel Simella, quarterback of the FRHS football team, can’t wait for the school to see how much they’ve improved over the summer. He recognizes that his team has many strengths; one of the biggest is the team’s relationships with one another.

“We’re really close with everybody,” Simella said. He explains that because of their great relationship with one another, they are becoming better as a unit.

The FRHS football team has changed a lot over the summer. For one, they’ve added a new offense which the players are excited to see how it will turn out. This new offense includes a tight but does not include a wide receiver. This will allow the players to block their opponents better.

The FRHS football team is excited to see how their team will do this season and invites everyone to come and support them!
