The moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived, fall is here. With the falling of the leaves and the chilly nights come the cozy sweaters and cuddle worthy fashions.

Bold, rich colors are the new neon. Cobalt blues, deep purples, reds, oranges and burgundies reflect the warm, rich feelings of fall. These deep colors pull ensembles together, and that wonderful feeling of fall we all love. The easiest way to bring this trend to your own wardrobe is big oversized sweaters. This sweater  from Francesca’s is worthy of a moment of silence.

Nothing is more comfortable than a huge engulfing sweater with cozy leggings and a huge scarf- just writing this makes me crave a cup of tea. I’ve been eyeing this adorable sweater  from H&M for a while now. Style it with a messy bun and this scarf  from Mod Cloth, too lovely.

Faux leather is my secret lover. I have loved it ever since I was in eighth grade and I got my first faux leather jacket, however, I felt that leather was a hard look to pull off. But wait my sunflowers, that is a lie. Leather is fierce and fabulous, and everyone should own at least one leather piece. Moto jackets are a perfect way to incorporate this trend. They become so much more of a statement if they’re a bold color or quilted. I’m dying over this one  from American Eagle. There is so much more to leather than jackets though. There’s pants, leggings, skirts, blazers, even shirts! It is more universal then you can imagine. My new personal favorite is leather sleeves; I could drool over leather sleeves. They are the perfect subtle edge that every outfit needs. Check out this one from Tilly’s  here  for only $40. If you are willing to stretch your wallet a little more, this Michael Kors one   at Macy’s is a stunner.  Leather skirts are so easy to throw together, pair them with fun color tights and a bold colored sweater and ta-da, fashion magic. Personally, I just bought this beauty from American Eagle, and am currently planning the wedding. Leather pants have the reputation of being super sexy and rebellious and yes, that is partly true. But, they can add that a small edge  This Nordstrom pair  is perfect because they take the leather down a little with a knit back.

Some say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but if we are all being honest here, a girl’s best friends are her shoes. A girl could never have too many shoes. Ever. Fall boots are too beautiful to pass up, and we talked about this last time, but I can’t stress the love of my boots in one column. Adding a pair of riding boots like these from DSW to a simple sweater and legging combo makes your clothes transform into a put together outfit. They become the most important accessory of fall.
