On Oct. 12 girls will be curling their hair, painting their faces and pulling on their dresses for the City of Heroes Homecoming dance. Every girl has her own style and own personality, and a girl’s dress should reflect that. Whether you are laid back, classic, edgy or girly, you are bound to be beautiful.
The Classic Cutie
Simple dress in the front, adorable dress in the back. The loose fit gives it relaxed yet sophisticated feel, perfect for homecoming. This dress would be perfect with a mess up-do to show off that bow, and for a little sparkle try a silver statement necklace.
The peek-a-boo mesh gives this classic dress a beautiful twist. The deep rich blue and skater skirt silhouette make this dress timeless and elegant. Pair it with some tousled waves and simple bracelets and statement rings and earrings, and because of the high neckline, skip a necklace.
The Laid Back Girl
This vintage loose is very laid back and means that you don’t have to constantly tug at your dress all night. The dark color is perfect for the fall weather. Pair it with adorable oxfords and loose waves or a simple top knot.
The loose fit and long sleeves scream comfortable, but it is such a gorgeous dress. The gold shimmer adds a fabulous accent, add a low chignon and it is perfect.
Drama Diva
This dress has it all, leather, lace, and a peplum, it is a dream come true. The lace and peplum scream girly, but the black leather and short skirt bring the edge. Add half up hair and lots of bling.
The bold color and the off-the-shoulder straps is a sweet balance of tough and pretty. To show off those collarbones add a fishtail braid and keep the jewelry simple.
The Girly Gal
Lace and ruffles, how much more girly can it get? The pop of pink takes it to the next level. Gold accessories are the perfect go to, and let’s not forget those heels!
The seashell pattern of this dress is just subtle enough to be simple. The blue skirt on the bottom brings the girly vibe that will accent those killer legs.
