Homecoming had quite the success this year. Compared to all the negative rumors about past homecomings, this homecoming seemed to have surprised many people who had expected the dance to be less fun.
With amazing decorations and a fun catchy theme, this homecoming seemed to have people buzzing about it long after it passed.
Many students including senior Nick Villar said “the decorations were over the top.”
With a GothamCity helicopter suspended from the ceiling and the giant life-like spider web in the corner, the decorations alone made the dance a fun and enjoyable place.
Aside from the decorations, the music is what really surprised the students that went. Expecting more of a dubstep style which is harder to dance to, the music was very catchy and upbeat this year which created everyone to be dancing non stop when usually some of the students leave or sit down midway at some of the other homecomings. With surprising songs such as “Footloose” and “Shout” the students couldn’t help getting excited and dancing to these fun, traditional songs.
Mariah Choury, sophomore at FRHS said “the music was good.”
With over the top decorations and great music, there’s no doubt this homecoming made a huge impact on student’s view of the first school dance. Thanks to all who came and for those who didn’t there’s always prom!
