Natalie Anderson

Natalie Anderson, Staff Writer

Natalie Anderson is starting her first year as a member of the Etched in Stone staff as a senior. She is excited to fill one of the many Staff Writer positions at the paper. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Anderson hopes to continue her journey in the area. After graduating from Fossil later this year, she hopes to continue onto Colorado State University. Anderson wants to study history, and hopes one day to move to Europe and become a museum curator.

In her free time, Anderson works as a martial arts instructor. She loves training younger kids and teaching them about martial arts and defense. She is also a member of the National Honor Society. She loves to volunteer at school events.

Anderson is a fantasy fan, with favorite authors like Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Sarah J Maas, and George R.R. Martin. When not reading, she enjoys watching shows like The Wheel of Time, The Witcher, and Shadow and Bone. She also loves to listen to artists like AJR, The Score, and Imagine Dragons. She prides herself in being in Glass Animal’s top .5% of listeners in 2021.

Anderson has one sister, who also goes to Fossil. She has a strong belief that cats are better than dogs, and proves it with her adorable Cornish Rex named Maizy.
