Fossil volleyball digs into the regional tournament

  Congratulations to the Fossil Ridge Volleyball Team for continuing their long running streak and making it to the regional tournament! They will play at regionals this Saturday, November 7th, at 12:00 against Douglas County and at 2:00 against Cherokee Trail at Cherokee Trail High School.

  Fossil is currently ranked 20th in the state and 3rd in conference. In conference, they are only behind Fairview who has taken 1st and Rocky Mountain who has landed 2nd place. Their current record is 15-8 statewide and 9-3 in conference.

  Douglas County is currently ranked 33rd in state with a record of 9-13 in the state and 2-8 in conference. They are from Castle Rock.

  Cherokee Trail is currently ranked 3rd in the state with a record of 7-0 in their conference and 19-4 statewide.

  Whoever wins this tournament will be going with 11 other teams to the State Tournament next weekend.
