French Club is a wonderful experience to learn the culture of France. It is every Thursday during B Lunch in room W208.
Every week there are presentations mainly from the co-presidents about everything from French culture, to French history, to other countries that speak French. Everything tend to be in English as well, so if you aren’t taking a French class, never fear! You can still come and learn.
Another great part about French Club is the food. Since it is during lunch, you eat while you watch the presentations. A great attribute to this though is that there is generally a French food that is brought in with the presentations.
Last week, Thursday, November 12th, there was a presentation on Belgium. Real Belgian waffles were brought in to taste while they learned all about this French speaking country.
The French Club also goes on a lot of field trip like events. On Saturday, November 14th, the French Club went as a group to La Creperie & Bakery of Fort Collins to enjoy some delicious food. They also have a trip planned to go learn how to make a bunch of French Food including Croquembouche, a large tower made up of cream puffs.
So make sure you stop by French Club on Thursdays during B Lunch to not miss out!
