Haley Donaldson is a senior here at Fossil Ridge High School. She enjoys science classes, especially the life sciences like Biology and Anatomy. Donaldson won the All State Most Valuable Player of the year this year and there is no denying that she is a great softball player. “I was super excited, I mean, seeing everything that you’ve done, all the hard work pays off,” said Donaldson about the achievement. 

Donaldson has continually showed her dedication to the sport after she started playing at seven years old. Her favorite and most focused position is shortstop. She not only played varsity every year of her high school career but also plays on a competitive and traveling club team. She has also gotten the amazing opportunity to see new places from the travel that comes with playing club. 

Haley may love the sport, but she also enjoys hanging out with friends and family. She also is a big fan of the outdoors and she likes to play other sports for fun in her free time. According to Haley “I snowboard, that’s what I love to do in the winter.” Athletics are a huge part of her life whether it be softball, snowboarding, or many other sports that she has played throughout her life.
