Fossil Ridge High School’s C-Team girls had a home game against Boulder at Thursday, February 18th at 6:30pm. The Sabercats started strong into the first quarter. At the end of the first quarter Fossil already led with 19 points; the score was 23-4.
Fossil played strong throughout the game. “It was still a challenge,” said Macy Klein. Boulder fouled a lot, which gave them a much more comfortable lead with their impressive free throw shooting.
Fossil didn’t drop their standard of play. They continued to press the game until they were winning by more than 4 times the score of Boulder. “A big lead like this was great,” said Klein.
At some points the game slowed down a little bit, but most of the time both teams fought hard. “We all worked hard and it was just amazing,” added Klein.
