Ripon College has a 250 acre campus, a diverse body of students, and more than 60 student led clubs and organizations. It is currently ranked #113 in National Liberal Arts Colleges. Founded in 1851, the campus consists of 26 buildings built in a unique, elegant style. There is no religious affiliation to the school.
Popular majors include theatre, chemistry, educational studies, and anthropology. A wide array of sports are available for both male and female students: baseball, basketball, cross country, cycling, dance, football, soccer, and softball.
Ripon College has a slightly strict student admission – about 67% of applications are accepted. Most of those accepted graduated in the top half and above in their high school class. Averages of the requirements is a 3.4 GPA, 1149 SAT score, and a 24 ACT score. For classes, applicants must have at least 4 years in English, 3 years of Social Studies and Science, and up to Algebra II in mathematics.
