Band Program to host Breakfast with Santa
The event will raise funds for the band program.
On Saturday, December 1, the Fossil Ridge High School Band program invites the community to attend a breakfast with Santa. Breakfast will be served between 7:30 and 11:00 a.m. in Fossil’s Commons. Pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee will be offered, holiday-themed crafts will be available, and anyone can come to take their picture with Santa. Entertainment is being provided by the Wind Symphony. Students from Select Symphonic Band and Symphonic Band will help as elves.
Although it is Fossil’s first year hosting Breakfast with Santa, other nearby high schools have more experience. “Loveland High School has done it for many years and they routinely bring in about $30,000. Our programs are really expensive, and we prefer to do fundraising than have students pay fees when making sure that we have what we need,” stated Meghan Muñoz, one of Fossil’s band directors. Prices on the day of the event are $7 for children under 12 years old and $9 for adults that are 13 years or older. For those who pay early at this site, there is a discount—$5 for children and $7 for adults.
Make sure to come out on Saturday and support your Fossil Ridge Band.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Fossil Ridge High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
