Out of this world: A night at Fossil’s 2019 Prom
On Saturday, May 4, the Fossil Ridge High School Prom was held at the Ranch at the Budweiser Event Center. This year’s theme was “Wander the Galaxy: May the Fourth Be With You,” so the dance floor was set up with lights representing stars. After taking photos with their friends and dates, students arrived around 8:00 p.m. to begin their evening at the dance. The royalty was announced midway into the night with Austin Hand as the Prom King and Megan Blad as the Queen. “This was the best last Prom I could have asked for and it was a great night with my closest friends,” says senior Mackenzie Lorenzen.
