Breaking: Curriculum Fair changes dates in face of winter storm

In lieu of the impending winter weather, the date of the curriculum fair has been moved to January 12.
With an impending severe winter storm advisory starting in the afternoon, Fossil Ridge High School staff has decided to move the annual Curriculum Fair to Wednesday, January 12. It is still scheduled to be held during the same time period, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Principal Julie Chaplain explained in an email to staff that they did not want staff and families driving home in “slick roads and hazardous conditions.” Facing the less-than-ideal conditions, they have canceled the fair in the hope that the greatest number of future students and families will come to explore the opportunities offered at Fossil.
“The safety of our students and families is very important to us,” explained Chaplain, “We want to be sure that all incoming 8th-grade students and families have the opportunity for you to come and learn more about all of what Fossil has to offer.”
Your donation will support the student journalists of Fossil Ridge High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
