Fossil prepares to kick off Make-A-Wish week

This year’s Make-A-Wish week will center around Reece, an eleven-year-old child with leukemia whose wish is to go to Legoland.
Throughout the week of April 3 to April 8, Fossil Ridge High School will be hosting the school’s annual Make-A-Wish week. Fossil’s League of Leaders and Ridge Leadership have coordinated a week of fundraising, school events, and spirit days to help raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. The face of this year’s festivities is Reece, an eleven-year-old wish kid battling leukemia whose wish is to go to Legoland.
Reece is from Fort Collins and loves the beach, riding his bike, and legos, specifically Marvel-themed ones. He is excited to stay at the Legoland hotel in San Diego, and cannot wait to swim in the pool and go to the beach. “No matter the circumstances, every child deserves a childhood. Life-changing wishes wouldn’t happen without the power of donors like you. Your support gives children much-needed hope for brighter days ahead… Hope is essential for children with critical illnesses, and you can unlock its life-changing power today.” You can donate here to help Reece and kids like him.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Fossil Ridge High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
