Bailey McBride, Editor-in-Chief
Bailey McBride, a junior at Fossil, has been in journalism for three years of her high school career. McBride hopes to pursue copy editing and further her skills in photography and editing. She’s returned because she has found that what she likes most in the class, its laidback nature, self-paced focus, made it worth returning to.
Her future goals are broad. By the end of the semester, she hopes to finish her AP exams, perform proficiently on her SATS, and start sending out her college applications. Although she was born and raised in Fort Collins, she hopes to leave it behind and live elsewhere. Being a recurring student in journalism, McBride wants to try new skills in Journalism. Her real talent is science. She hopes to find a career in the future in some form of environmental science.
On her own hours, McBride enjoys the comforts of home. Recently changing a long-standing habit, she wakes up early every morning. She does her own nails, reads, listens to music, and podcasts when she can find the time.
