Alena Leberger, Sports Writer
Alena LeBerger is in her senior year here at Fossil Ridge High School. LeBerger is in her first year on the Etched in Stone staff and writes for the sports beat. Some of her other favorite things to write are investigative features. LeBerger decided for her senior year to take a full schedule to remain busy including her new favorite class Yoga, she says It’s a fun easy class that is super relaxing. Her dedication to the art program is immense, she has taken Pottery for three years, saying it is one of her favorite classes and hobbies. The class LeBerger is most excited about is painting. Alena is an avid painter and she loves to draw when she is home. The class she’s most nervous about is Government, but she’s excited to learn what the class has to offer. She says that when she goes to college she is going to Front Range Community College.
At home, LeBerger has two poodles, Toby and Ruby, that are both two years old. She says that she loves her dogs even though they are a lot of work. LeBerger has two older siblings, Micheal who is 37 and Krista who 28, and she also has a twin sister Gigi.
She says that some of her favorite hobbies are exercising and her favorite is yoga. LeBerger even said that someday she would like to be a yoga instructor to inspire the same love of yoga that she had in others. When she’s having fun she’s hanging out with friends, shopping, or eating her favorite food, pizza. She really likes shopping at PacSun and Abercrombie and Fitch. Alternative Music and EDM is her favorite kind of music to listen to with her favorite song being Left Hand Free by Alt. J.
