Findlay West, Social Media Manager
Findlay West is a sophomore at Fossil who is in her first year on the Etched in Stone staff. Born in Columbia, Missouri, West moved to Kentucky before moving to Colorado at the age of five, and has lived here since.
Along with journalism, West plays middle hitter for the Fossil girls volleyball team, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her family includes her parents, her younger sister, Allie, and her two dogs, Karl and Harvey.
West, who describes herself as a social person, decided to take Journalism 2 because she enjoyed the aspect of meeting new people that came with Journalism 1. After high school, West is considering exploring higher education and career paths related to business and law. During her first semester on the staff, West aims to grow her writing skills, pursue her passion for social media, and dabble in all aspects of journalism.
