Monica Jarosz, Staff Writer
Monica Jarosz, a senior at Fossil Ridge High School and a staff writer for Etched in Stone, is looking forward to taking on her third year of journalism. Jarosz lives at home with her mom, dad, and brother, who’s currently attending Front Range Community College. She does not have any pets but would love to have a dog.
Jarosz likes being organized and staying clean. She says her two biggest pet peeves are when people don’t clear the microwave numbers when you pull your food out before it is done and when the dentist is working on your mouth and is trying to talk to you.
Originally from Nebraska, she and her family moved to Fort Collins when she was three years old. Since the move, Jarosz has picked a few hobbies including hiking and skiing. Apart from that, Jarosz also likes to listen to country music and run cross country. Jarosz also likes to partake in calligraphy and woodburning. These are a creative and relaxing outlet for her. Aside from that she enjoys working with her youth group, going on several missions trips to Minnesota, South Dakota, and Puerto Rico.
For her future, Jarosz is interested in going to a college which can provide her with majors surrounding creative writing and media arts.
