Varsity softball dominated the field on Tuesday, September 15 against Legacy. They played at Legacy High School. They won 14 to 5. Sadly the victory was short lived when they played Mountain Range on Thursday September 17, they lost the home game 6 to 5, but still put in a terrific effort.
JV softball sadly lost 4 to 2 on Tuesday’s game against Legacy. However, they brought home a win on Thursday September 17 against Mountain Range. They won 8 to 7 and things are looking up. According to coach Philop “This particular Freshman class, it’s probably the most talented across the board”.
Both teams will be playing Broomfield High School at Broomfield High School on Saturday, September 19 at 10:00am. They will also be playing in another away game Monday, September 20 against Adams City at Adams City High School. There will also be 2 home games in the upcoming week one on Tuesday, September 22 against Horizon and the other one is on Thursday, September 24 against Greeley West. Both home games start 4:15 so mark your calendars and don’t miss the chance to support your fellow Sabercats.
