The Varsity softball team redeemed themselves this week and brought home two wins. They first dominated the field on Tuesday, October 6 in an away game against Fort Collins. They won 5 to 4. They kept the strong winning streak in Thursday, October 8 when they played at home against Fairview and won 16 to 15. The JV team won on Thursday October 8 at home, they won 18 to 0.
The standings for this week are 7-4 in the league and 12-6 overall. The girls are doing great this season. According to Coach Philip “They work hard to compete, they want to get better, and they want to try to win the championship, so that makes it easy to coach them, and makes it fun to coach them”.
The girls have the week off to prepare for their regional game and state is right around the corner. So wish them luck and show up and support at their regional game which will be played on Saturday, October 17.

I think that the article could have been a little longer, and the info was a little off. As a softball player, I know that the scores were off a little bit, so just try to find a primary source next time so that there’s not a chance of having an inaccurate score. One other thing is I think the word ‘dominated’ could have been replaced with something else. But other than that, I thought this was a good article.

Your information is a little backwards for this article. Varsity won at home on Thursday, October 8th, against Fairview with an 18-0 score and not the JV team.JV beat Fairview 16-15 though. Other than that, this is a good article but none of the pictures are of the varsity team although they seem to be your main feature and focus of the article. Its helpful for everyone to know the dates of Regionals and the State tournament, so I enjoy the publication of the article.
