Over the weekend in Thornton, the Fossil Ridge boys’ swimming and diving team won conference at the VMAC, beating Loveland by half a point with a score of 768.5. Sophomore Carson Clear, who will be doing the hundred backstroke at state, said, “After that day I really understood what it meant to be a team. Swimming all my life it’s really been more of an individual sport to me than it has been a team sport. But it was all dependent on every single race and every single person.”
