Clerical error regarding 9/11 remembrance

Many students at Fossil Ridge High School were confused by the lack of a moment of silence on Sept. 11, often included in the school’s announcements to remember the 9/11 tragedy each year.

“We had actually planned a moment of silence on 9/11 following the pledge of allegiance, but there was a temporary clerical error in the main office,” FRHS principal Mr. Allen said.

According to Mr. Allen, it was a mistake, and not a deliberate choice, which most students thought.
