Furniture donated to FRHS

American Furniture Warehouse donated furniture to the DECA program at Fossil Ridge High School. Jake Jabs, the CEO of American Furniture Warehouse, is the great uncle of sophomore Bryce Jabs.

“DECA asked if they could get furniture donated, and they asked if I was related to Jake Jabbs,” Bryce said.  “Then they wrote him a letter and the furniture came delivered in a truck.”

The letter was written by senior Brandon Bodnar. A table, numerous office chairs, and a trophy case were donated. The furniture is now being used to better the use of the classroom, as well as provide more seating to students.

Currently the furniture is in room 203 near the Commons that is being used as a business classroom and as a conference room for leadership students involved in DECA.
