On Tuesday, September 1, Fossil Ridge Tennis hosted Fairview. Fossil lost in a close match with a score of 4-3.

Jessi Johar, parent volunteer for the Fossil tennis team said, “I think they needed to see the level of competition out there. For many it was their first game as varsity and was a important learning lesson for them all.”

Arjen Gupta, number one singles for Fossil said, “I think we had a lot of nerves going into it (the game) just because we had a chance of winning and I think we got a bit over confident.”

The next game is a Tournament in Loveland this weekend competing against Loveland High and Rocky Mountain. Let’s go Sabercats!
