Jordan Brownhill, Co Editor in Chief
Jordan Brownhill is a senior and the Editor in Chief of Etched in Stone, along with Lizzy Camp. Brownhill has been an integral part of the newsroom since her freshman year. Former Social Chair, she has always excelled at making staff feel comfortable, welcome, and important, while being a strong leader. She is excited to continue her journey in journalism and as a mentor to the staff.
Her goals for Etched in Stone this year include releasing articles of the highest quality and keeping the paper well rounded. Brownhill strives to make sure that the newsroom is a positive and safe place for all. She hopes that she can give back to the program that has given so much to her.
Brownhill is currently in her eleventh year of dancing. Right now she is on the varsity dance team at Fossil. Outside of dance and journalism, Brownhill loves listening to music and reading. Her favorite artists include Phoebe Brigers, Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, and Mitski. Her favorite book is The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides.
She also enjoys spending time with her family. Brownhill has one older brother,Jackson, and loves to hang out with her parents, who are her biggest influence. Born in Indiana, she moved to Georgia after two years, where she lived for nine years. Brownhill has been living in Colorado for almost seven years.
Brownhill plans on studying psychology at University of Northern Colorado next year. She hopes to continue helping others throughout her future.
