The PSD Fire were back on Fossil Turf this past Monday, October 5th. Mid-way through the season, the Fire have yet to win a game and are thirsty for a victory this season. Despite having zeroes in the win column, the team has played very hard against their opponents, but have had trouble scoring throughout the season.
Denver East, being a skilled and fast paced team, had the advantage coming into this game. The game was off to a fast start from the first face-off, and the Fire matched the skill of Denver East holding the score at zeroes on each side of the scoreboard. Denver East came out hard in the second half of the contest and pushed over the top of the Fire, slightly overtaking the pace of the game as the half progressed. Denver East had tired the Fire out and put the ball in the back of the net four times in the second half. Denver East left the PSD Fire thirsty for goals and a single win, going home with a 4-0 win.
