Every Tuesday during A and B lunch, Key Club meets in the roundhouse.  During these meetings, the student leaders of this club stand up front and describe the service opportunities coming up for the members of the club.

One of the main purposes of this club is to serve in the school and in the community.  Similar with the theme of service in this club, the mission statement is, “Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.”  The organization at Fossil allows the members to choose when and how they want to serve.

At fossil, key club is run by student leaders.  The leadership includes, president Arti Pandey, vise president Erin Kastein, secretary Emily Chao, treasurer Sruja Machani and bulletin editor Eden Senay.  Each of them then heads up their own committee filled with members from the club.  The committees are different traits that represent key club; leadership, service, caring, inclusiveness, and public relations. These committees each focus on different service projects throughout the year to help participate in all kinds of service.

Some upcoming events Key Club is participating in include Treatsylvania which is on October 23, 24, and 25, Trick or Treat for UNICEF on Halloween, and working the CSU confessions on December 6th. Key club is full of great opportunities for students to go out and help in the community and in the school!
