Annabeth Sarbacker, Staff Writer
Senior, Annabeth Sarbacker joined the Journalism program this year in hopes of branching out to try something new. This year she has found a new interest in writing for sports and looks forward to writing about the community as well. In the spirit of trying new things she is taking a woods class, a studio art history class, and a weight lifting class at period zero which begins at 6 A.M.

Sarbacker was born in China and adopted when she was a baby. She does not know how old she technically is, but she does have a legal birth date. She lived in California until she was 8 when she moved to Colorado with her family. Her immediate family is made of her parents, an older sister, and an older brother. Her family has expanded to include an exchange student from Germany, Charlotte, and a friend turned brother, Matthew.
Sarbacker finds her passion in traveling as she has gone to most states in the United States. But she is most excited about expanding her global travels. She has already been to Spain, Italy, and Mexico. Sarbacker hopes to attend school out of state or out of the country where her first choice of location is Ireland. She has applied to a dozen schools which include universities on the west coast, in Ireland, in Australia, and in England. No matter the school she attends, she plans on studying abroad.

As her favorite activity is trying new things, she identifies herself as an adventurer. This new year her resolution was to do more things that scare her. She would tell anyone “there’s nothing wrong with at least trying”.
