Cast of Our Town goes back in time

[slideshow_deploy id=’10726′]

In a blast from the past, the cast of Our Town visited a 1930s style diner in Lyons, Colorado, on Monday, October 5, to better immerse themselves in the setting of this year’s fall play. The Lyons Soda Fountain features an authentic soda fountain from 1921, which is when the diner opened, and the cast of Our Town took promotional pictures while there. Hannah Cherkauer, a member of the costume and makeup crew, commented, “We got a feel for what people in that time period experienced, and it was a good bonding moment for the entire cast.” This trip allowed the cast to connect with their characters more, while getting to enjoy ice cream at the same time. Fossil students can delve into the past when Our Town hits the stage November 12-14.
